Offering a variety of products including a digital wallet app, wearables, cash vouchers and more, MuchBetter serves over one million users across 100+ markets in over 16 languages.

The MuchBetter Wallet allows customers to spend, send, and store money securely, all from their mobile phones with the ability to pair MuchBetter Wearables, such as key fobs, watches, and more to make contactless payments. Our newest product, MuchBetter Gateway has been designed to power e-commerce performance through localised payment processors

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Product Manager who is passionate about delivering value and satisfaction to our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and compliance, to ensure that our back-office solutions align with business objectives, enhance productivity, and support the company’s growth. While your primary responsibility will be to drive the strategic development and operational efficiency of the company’s back-office systems and processes, you are also encouraged to collaborate with colleagues across our entire product range. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, data-driven, and possess a strong understanding of the product lifecycle.

    Key Tasks:

    • Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a comprehensive product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company’s overarching strategy.
    • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive research, and customer interviews to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
    • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
    • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to execute product initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
    • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with product goals.
    • User Experience: Advocate for a user-centered design approach, ensuring that products deliver exceptional user experiences.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making processes.
    • Product Launch: Oversee product launches, including the development of go-to-market strategies, sales training, and marketing campaigns.
    • Post-Launch Analysis: Monitor post-launch product performance, gather user feedback, analyse key metrics, and drive continuous improvements.
    • Budget Management: Oversee product budgets, including development, marketing, and support costs.

    Experience Required:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or alternatively, a minimum of three years of experience in product management within the fintech sector.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency with agile development methodologies, software development processes, and relevant tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with the capacity to navigate complex challenges.
    • Customer Focus: Comprehensive understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these needs into product features and enhancements.
    • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
