The Role

Our Marketing team is growing and as part of our marketing strategy we want to elevate our marketing and storytelling in our key growth Spanish language markets in Europe and LATAM, with this new role of Regional Marketing Manager, reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager. The role requires a well-rounded and passionate marketer who is driven by making a difference to how our brand is received and acted upon and can work across the spectrum of strategy and execution for a diverse B2B and B2C regional marketing program.

The role operates as part of a forward-thinking, integrated and digital-first marketing team striving to push our boundaries, innovate, and achieve measurable results, with commercially-sound return-on-investment (ROI).

The role is based in the Isle of Man, with frequent travel to Spain, and potentially to Spanish language markets in LATAM, to ensure that we have capturing local insights, building relationships, and driving culturally relevant, and nuanced, marketing programs. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge and insights of Spanish culture and must speak fluent Spanish.

Core Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of marketing developing and driving our marketing strategy and execution for B2C and B2B segments in the key MuchBetter growth regional markets.
  • Research, monitor, and analyse the market landscape for consumer insights and trends, competitor behaviour, and new market opportunities that affect and determine our marketing strategies.
  • Deep dive into target audiences to build understanding of needs and behaviours, and how this affects the purchase lifecycle.
  • Able to develop commercially sounds KPIs and ROIs that leverages our precious marketing and financial resources for the maximum positive outcomes.
  • Produce the annual marketing strategy and plans, proposition messaging and the right mix of above-the-line and below-the-line activities, online and offline.
  • Deep experience across digital marketing platforms and channels, with at least 3 years experience in driving and producing digital content and formats.
  • Lead engagement with local creative and media agencies.
  • Drive an innovative and impactful PR strategies for long term traction in earned channels, leveraging the influencers and new media.
  • Drive and product original, culturally relevant Spanish content and translations, in-house and with content creators.
  • Lead MuchBetter’s multi-year sponsorship of Real Betis, capitalising on our sponsorship assets, and embedding exciting storytelling and formats into the mix of traditional and new sponsorship marketing formats.
  • Drive internal comms and frontline enablement in support of regional marketing programs.
  • Active role as part of the events team for regional markets.

Experience and Competencies

  •  3-5 years’ experience working on integrated marketing programs, with experience in Spain being a distinct advantage.
  •  Proven experience in driving results for large scale events and sponsorship management.
  •  Experience in working with agencies working across creative, media, promotions, and PR.
  •  Able to balance a focus on execution for current strategies, with a future-view on new opportunities and trends.
  •  Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  •  Creative and curious, with interest or experience in campaign optimisation.
  •  Be at ease in developing timelines, with strong project management skills.
  •  Strong communication, with ability to articulate complex points of view simply and rationally.
  •  Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  •  Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must
  •  Flexibility for frequent travel to regional markets.
  •  A team player who can collaborate across functions
  •  Fluent in Spanish is mandatory.
