The Role

The role of the Transaction Monitoring Senior Analyst is to perform complex monitoring reviews to help meet our regulatory obligations and ensure our internal systems and controls are operating effectively.

Core Responsibilities

  •  Support Compliance Officer in various tasks and projects
  • Monitor customer and other transactions to ensure they are appropriate and processed accurately
  • Log and analyse transactional inaccuracies and identify the root causes
  • Detect potential suspicious transactions and activity and report accordingly
  • Review business activity screening results and further investigate potential matches up to resolution
  • Carry out regular compliance reviews on higher risk customers, PEPs and VIPs
  • Design, define and continuously improve the systems exception and monitoring reports on customer and other business transactions used by Compliance department
  • Assist with any Company projects as required

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years compliance experience within a regulated entity in similar role in a banking, payments, or gaming environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of EU AML/CFT laws and regulations, as well as general strong understanding of compliance function (ACAMS or other certificate considered an advantage)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to convey complex information in a succinct, understandable way for the audience
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work with minimum supervision
  • Sound investigative skills and ability to identify root causes
  • Experience with SAR’s investigations
  • Fluency in English is essential (other languages considered an advantage)
