Why it was so MuchBetter in 2019!

We had a great year at MuchBetter and so have many of our customers. We’ve won awards and given hundreds of thousands of new account holders a much better experience: – by making spending money more rewarding and providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our competition winners.

Unless you work in the payments industry the following awards won’t mean much to you, but we’re very proud of our achievements this year. 2019 was the year we claimed the following prestigious awards, confirming our place as the most exciting and innovative payment app and e-wallet on the market.

MuchBetter experiences for our customers

This year our goal was to give our customers a much better experience when they use MuchBetter. We’ve run some great competitions, giving customers a chance to win some fantastic experiences.

In May, to celebrate our partnership with West Ham United*, we offered one lucky West Ham United fan the opportunity to watch West Ham on Tour in Shanghai! Winner, Andy Cross, received flights, accommodation and 2 match tickets to West Ham’s game in July.

MuchBetter’s Summer Series Tournament

We also sponsored the first social online poker tournament of its kind this year. The tournament gave poker fans a chance to play against top poker pros, including Lex Veldhuis, at 2019 European Poker Tour in Barcelona this August. Fans also got a chance to play at the new tournament series, Lex Live 2 in London.

We took 4 poker fans to Barcelona for a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience. Watch the video below to find out how they got on:

Then in October Lex Live 2 qualifiers met in London for this new series. It was great to meet the community and spend time with everyone involved. Here are some of our highlights:

The New Year will bring more exciting MuchBetter Experiences when we announce the winner of MegaDraw! There’s still time to earn points before the competition closes on 31^st December 2019 and be in with a chance of winning a 5 star VIP trip to Las Vegas.
